They take a long time to get to know each other, Drake making many mistakes that could have been fatal for their relationship, Kai being kidnapped or transformed by the evil being within her...Syn. Syn is then gone, but comes back full force to despose of Kai.

Kai wondered down the streets looking around at the store she passed. "Hm...lets see. Snack food...snack food." She mumbled t her self. She accidentally bumped in some one. "Oops sorry." She said quickly so the person wouldn't get mad.

She looked into one of the windows of a store she was about to pass and she walked in. Kai wondered the rows for snack foods. She picked up some Doritos, lickerish, snow balls, and Drakes Carmel squares. She also picked up some drinks. She got a Coke and a Mountain Dew. She walked up to the counter and placed them down in front of the man behind the counter. "Is this all?" He asked. "Yup." She said with a smile. The man scanned the items and the total came out to $20.13. Kai payed for them and walked back out side. She walked down the cold streets when she felt like someone was watching her. She turned and looked behind her to see if anyone was there.

Kai didn't see anybody so she continued to walk down the street. The crinkle of the bags in her hands were the only sound she could hear. She still had that feeling that someone was watching her.

He ran into an alley and jumped up to the rooftops, he followed her along there. "Just a little bit further," he whispered. He ran ahead and jumped down into a different alley to wait for kai to walk by. He hid in the shadows.
As soon as she walked by he put a hand over her mouth and pulled her into the shadows of the alley way. he wrapped his other arm around her waist. "Answer me this girly, are you ready to die?" he whispered in her ear. His grip was tight.

Kai dropped her bags of food and grabbed his hand that covered her mouth and pulled it off of her mouth. "No I'm not." She said in an angry tone. Then she bit down on his hand. Blood dripped from his hand and her mouth.

He pulled his hand away from her mouth, "Well if I can't get a meal out fo you, I can at least have a snack." He pulled her head to the side and bit down hard trying to get as much blood from her as he could. Before she had a chance to do anything he ripped his teeth out of her neck, "Thanks for the snack, but next time you won't be so lucky," He ran off into the night.

Kai covered her neck to try and stop the bleeding. "Dam!" Her neck stung a little bit by eventually the bleeding stopped. The blood had stained her shirt. She zipped up her jacket to cover up the blood stain on her shirt. She picked up her bags and headed down the street back to the apartment.
