Laurie eventually changes her into a vampire and they are finally able to be happy. But visits from A troublesome Werewolf and a vicious Hunter puts a halt in the festivities.
Laurie and Mikani overcome many obsticles together, but that doesn't mean their relationship can end tragically.

The story that goes on and on. Drake and Kai, unlikely lovers, but destined lovers, meet in the most bizzare place...and alley...
They take a long time to get to know each other, Drake making many mistakes that could have been fatal for their relationship, Kai being kidnapped or transformed by the evil being within her...Syn. Syn is then gone, but comes back full force to despose of Kai.

Duke walked through the empty hallways and down the hall past the other bedrooms. Kai looked up at Duke with wide eyes. "Wheres Drake?" She asked in a childish voice. Duke didn't even look down at her. "He's out..." He said softly. As he was waling he walked past Nathan's open bed room door. He looked in and saw Nathan and Asuka just sitting there. "Nathan, Asuka follow me." He told them and walked off to his room.

Duke kicked his door open and walked over to the bed. He gracefully placed Kai on the bed and sat on the end of the mattress. He watched Kai closely.
Asuka wondered into the room and looked around. "Wow...Dukes room..." She said softly to herself. When she saw Kai her eyes brightened. "She's back!" She said with excitement and clapped her hands together.

Nathan sighed painfully, "Too bad i can't see...," he thought. But apart from his handicap, he was glad Kai was back to normal, he smiled at her cutely.

Kai looked at Duke with a frown on her face. "Wheres Drake?" She asked. "I want to see him." Duke frowned and looked at Asuka you know where he lives right?" He asked.
Asuka looked up at him and shook her head up and down. "Ya...?" She paused and thought of a second on what he was thinking. Her eyes light up. "are you going to let her go back home?" She asked.

Nathan leaned in the doorway and frowned, "Duke wouldn't let her go back home so quickly, would he?" he thought to himself, "No, what if Syn wasn't really dead...Oh stop thinking that way Nathan!" He was having an internal conversation with himself, and from the outside, he made facial expressions to go along with it.

Duke looked at Nathan. "Don't hurt yourself kid." He turned and looked at Asuka. "The Boss told me she could go back but we would have to watch her until we know she's stable."
Asuka smiled and clapped her hands together again. "Drake will be so happy!" She said with a big smiled and a little giggle escaped.

Duke gave a small laugh and looked at Nathan. "Just relax." He turned and looked at Kai and gave a faint smile. "You ready to go see Drake?" He asked her softly. Kai smiled back yes...I hope he's alright." She replied in a small voice. He stood up and picked Kai up again. Duke turned to Asuka. "Asuka your coming with me."
"Yes sir." She said with a smile.
He turned and looked at Nathan. "Do you want to come kid?" He asked.
