Laurie eventually changes her into a vampire and they are finally able to be happy. But visits from A troublesome Werewolf and a vicious Hunter puts a halt in the festivities.
Laurie and Mikani overcome many obsticles together, but that doesn't mean their relationship can end tragically.

They take a long time to get to know each other, Drake making many mistakes that could have been fatal for their relationship, Kai being kidnapped or transformed by the evil being within her...Syn. Syn is then gone, but comes back full force to despose of Kai.

Duke's car came to a loud halt in the garage. "Come on!" He yelled. He threw his door open and ran to the passenger door. He pulled out his phone and pushed a little red button on the side of it. This button as a warning button for emergency's like this.

Nathan, who was sitting in the kitchen talking to Evangelista got an emergency message tone on his phone, "Oh crap," he said getting up from his chair, "I need to go!" Before she could answer he ran out and headed towards the garage. Once he arrived he stood in the doorway, "What happened?" he asked frantically, trying to catch his breath, "It isn't Asuka is it?"

"No we've got a bigger problem." Duke called to him as her pulled drake out of the car. "Drake and Kai are hurt..." Once he had rake out of the car her pulled Drake's am over his shoulder and put a hand on his waist. "We'll need Tina..." He grunted.

Nathan pulled out his phone again, "Tina...Tina...," he mumbled to himself pressing the eight button to call her. He put the phone up to his ear and waited for a response. While waiting he asked, "Duke, do you need help?"

Tina awoke groggily and reached around blindly for her phone. When she finally found it she pressed the button and said loudly, "What the hell do you want, you better have a good reason for waking me up."

"When i get a hold of Tina, i'll ask her to come down here." He noticed Tina answered, "We need you right now, come to the garage, Drake and Kai are hurt pretty bad, please get down here fast, i'm sorry to wake you."

Tina's eyes narrowed and she said angrily, "fine I'll be down there in a minute," an quickly hung up the phone. Grabbign a nearby bag she raced out of her room and to the garage.

Nathan frowned when she hung up, "Someone just woke up," he commented shutting the phone and placing it in his pocket. "Tina can take Kai," he said, "I don't trust myself carrying her especially in her condition."

A minute later Tian burst into the garage, her eyes flaming. Seeing the both Drake and Kai in bad condition she practically yelled, "What the hell happened?"

Tian rolled her eyes and took Kai into her arms. She muttered, "Oh great, no we have werewolves involved." Glancing again at Drake she said, "It's about time you finally brought someone goodlooking here Duke."
