Laurie eventually changes her into a vampire and they are finally able to be happy. But visits from A troublesome Werewolf and a vicious Hunter puts a halt in the festivities.
Laurie and Mikani overcome many obsticles together, but that doesn't mean their relationship can end tragically.

Part I
The story that goes on and on. Drake and Kai, unlikely lovers, but destined lovers, meet in the most bizzare place...and alley...
They take a long time to get to know each other, Drake making many mistakes that could have been fatal for their relationship, Kai being kidnapped or transformed by the evil being within her...Syn. Syn is then gone, but comes back full force to despose of Kai.

The darkening clouds swirled and boiled above the towering buildings of glass and stone. Street lights illuminated the crowded side walks of people and hidden among the unsuspecting humans like a wolf among sheep. The sun was starting to set and night life was come back from the shadows.
The flashy red sports car drove down the streets in the darkening streets of the Vampire City. Asuka had her glasses down and her hair was flying behind her as she drove proudly in her car. Many of the humans on the side walks or in the cars stared at the car and it's passengers in aw.

Laurie felt a little uncomfortable and a little sad coming back to Moon City. The city reminded him of Mikani, and since he was here, he was close to her, but he couldn't be with her again. He tried not to think about it anymore, now that they were getting close to Kai and Syn. He knew he'd fight in some way, helping Drake.
Nathan was quiet and in fact, he looked asleep because his eyes were shut and his head was tilted to one side.
"Are we almost there?" Drake asked Asuka a little louder than he normally would talk, since the sound of the engine of the car was loud enough.
Meanwhile, Geo drove the bike fast, but he was still a few minutes behind Asuka due to...traffic issues. "Duke...where are we off to anyway? How are we going to search for Syn?" Geo asked.
"But nothing can erase that past...I've tried forgetting but it has scarred me for the rest of my life...I can't forget...I've been branded by it..." -Laurie

Asuka gave a small nod. "We have a meeting spot when things like this happen. "She yelled back to Drake.
"To the usual meeting spot." He said loudly then he laughed a little at Geo's question. "I know a little bit on whole Syn thinks Geo...how do you think I found her last time?"
Asuka took a quick right and drove up to a garage of some sort that appeared to be abandoned and she came up to a small ticket box with little buttons on it. She quickly typed in a four digit code and the metal door that blocked the way lifted up and as that happened she pulled into the door.

"Okay," Drake replied. He leaned back in the seat and waited.
Geo drove a little faster, this time taking shortcuts to hopefully get there before Asuka and the others. He just liked being first.
They arrived after Asuka had already pulled into the door. So it was shut. Geo pulled the bike up to the little ticket box thing and typed in the password then entered and the door shut behind him.
Laurie looked around, "Where are we?"
Geo drove fast then put the breaks on hard. The bike skidded and screeched to a halt right behind Asuka's car.

They were in a rather large garage with many boxes and high tec equipment. There were hanging ceiling lights that made the room glow. "This is one of are hide outs that we use. We have cameras set up all over the city so we can keep an eye out for anything unusual." She said with a smile.
Duke hoped of the bike and walked over to the car and leaned on Nathan's door. "I'm going to check the camera's for any interesting footage." He said quickly and went to a large wall of tv's and grabbed a remote on a small table and turned on all of the tv's.

Geo parked the bike then got off and followed Duke, as his right hand man, he wanted to see the video footage too. "You really think Syn would be stupid enough to jump in front of one of our cameras?" he asked while still thinking about the situation.
Nathan unbuckled his seatbelt and got out, he knew this place, but not very well. He walked around, then eventually stopped over by Geo and Duke.
Laurie and Drake both unbuckled their seat belts and got out also. Drake followed to where Geo and Duke went off to, but Laurie went to look around, because...well...he's curious. "I've never been in a place like this before..." he said softly to himself. He looked at all the electronic equipment.
Drake noticed that Laurie was off somewhere else out of his view, "Laurie, please don't touch anything..."
Geo caught wind of what Drake was saying, "Hey you! You break anything, you die!" he yelled. he hated people messing with his creations. He went back to what he was doing before.
Laurie sighed, "I'm not going to break anything..." he said under his breath.

Duke looked over his shoulder at Geo and smirked. "It's not Syn I'm looking for Geo." He said smoothly as he looked back at the TV screens.
Asuka got out of her car and followed after Laurie. "I've only been here a few times." She said with a small shrug. Asuka looked over at Geo when he threatened Laurie. "Don't mind Geo hes just a little over protective of his things." She whispered softly.
Duke's eyes moved over all of the screens then he pressed the fast forward button.

Geo watched the fast moving pictures with ease.
"It's okay," Laurie whispered back. He smiled at her then continued to look at all of Geo's precious creations. He stopped and looked at a group of little machines that resembled spiders. They weren't too big, but they were still frightening, "Those things are scary..." Laurie looked at the spider contraption closer then it started to move, and he jumped back.
"What did I tell you? Leave my stuff alone..." Geo said calmly. Since most electronic things were controlled by him, most of the smaller electronics could be controlled by his glasses, all he had to do was search through a menu and chose what item to activate.
"Sorry..." Laurie said quietly. He decided that snooping around would do nothing for him but get himself in trouble, so he walked back over to Drake and stood next to him quietly.
Drake sighed, "You're fine Laurie, you're not in trouble."

Duke was silent for a minute or so before he paused the TVs. "Hm..." He mumbled softly as he walked up close to one of the many TV's. After staring at the screen for a moment he smirked slightly. "Well hello." He said softly.
Asuka walked up next to Nathan and looked at the screens. "What is it Duke?" She asked linking arms with Nathan.
Duke pointed to a figure going into an alley way. "That would be who I was looking for..." He said softly. His finger was still pointed at the figure going into the alleyway. He had black hair that was slicked black and a golden skin tone. Creeping up on the right side of his neck was a black tattoo. He was wearing a black button up shirt with black dress pants.

Geo looked at the screen closer, "Woah, you have good eyes..." he said, "I would never have seen them...but it wouldn't have matter because I didn't know you were looking for that guy..." He crossed his arms and sighed, "So...what does seeing that guy tell us?"
Drake just listened quietly, but Laurie watched Asuka walk over to Nathan and link arms with him, "Oh...so they are together? I never would have guessed..." he thought.
When Asuka linked arms with Nathan, he smiled, blushed lightly and kissed Asuka softly on the cheek.

Duke smiled a little. "That my dear Geo would be Syn's closest 'friend' if you'd like to call him that." He said crossing his arms.
Asuka frowned at the screen. "But that doesn't tell us why seeing him is important."
Duke turned around and looked at all of them. "This man never seems to be far from his mistress." He said with a small smile. "That means where ever they are is in section D35." He said pointing at the number in the corner of the screen.

Drake frowned, "So he must have kidnapped Kai...but in favor of Syn," he said softly, "So we know where they are now?"
Geo nodded.
"Who is this man anyway...?" Drake asked.
Laurie felt Drake's side and walked slowly over to screen where Duke and Geo were staring at the frozen image. He examined it but said nothing, he simply wanted a closer look.

Duke looked over at Drake. "His name is Mark...I doubt thats his real name since he works for the under ground markets and arenas. We don't know much about him except that he works for Syn now."
Asuka hugged Nathan's arm. "Why would he work for Syn? Is he crazy or something?" She asked frowning slightly.

Drake thought for a moment, "Underground markets and arenas...?" he asked, "I think I know this man..." Laurie looked at Drake shocked, Geo did the same thing, "You know this man?! Why didn't you say anything before?!" Geo yelled.
"I didn't have enough information to say anything...but Kai was kidnapped before by a man like that...he has some kind of mind control powers...I don't really remember it all that well, but he made Kai fight against me in an arena battle...his pockets were overflowing with money..." He didn't want to remember that particular event, but hopefully it could give some help.
