They take a long time to get to know each other, Drake making many mistakes that could have been fatal for their relationship, Kai being kidnapped or transformed by the evil being within her...Syn. Syn is then gone, but comes back full force to despose of Kai.

Drake walked up the stair to Kai's apartment where the door was locked, she hadn't come home. He sat down on the floor next to the door and closed his eyes, "Hurry up Kai," he whispered to himself, he was worried about her.

Four hours passed and Kai still had not come back. The halls were quiet and empty. Every once and awhile a door will close and a person would pass by, but Kai was not one of them. Two voices grew louder as two men walked up the stairs "I'm telling ya this is true! This chick is beating the crap out of these guys three times her size." The man who just talked was tall and thin man with shaggy blond hair. The other man was large and buff, he had brown hair slicked back. They both seemed to be unnaturally beautiful. "That sounds like a load of BS." Answered the buff man.

Drake opened his eyes at the sound of the men's conversation. He looked in their direction curiously, "What?" he thought, "That doesn't make any sense."

The shaggy blond man made a small frown. "It's not! David saw her with his own two eyes. He said she showed no mercy. They had to stop a fight because the guy she was fighting couldn't get back up, and this guy was like 3 feet taller then her!" The buff man crossed his arms and let out a husky laugh. "I'll believe it when I see it."

"She also called on the earth to do her bidding. She didn't even have to lift a finger." The blond haired man whispered. The buff man looked at him in surprise. "Really?" He asked. He walked up to a door and pulled out a key. "Ya. Rocks nd roots shot out of the ground like she was the rock and roots were her." The buff man opened the door and leaned against the door frame. "Well thats very interesting." He said softly a he rubbed his chin.

Drakes's eyes widened, "That sounds so familiar...," he thought standing up, "Kai?! Where are you?" He looked towards the men and walked up to them, "Where is she?" he asked in a serious voice, he frowned.

He looked at the buff man and frowned, "She's been kidnapped," he said quietly. Drake's voice was a bit irritated, "Thanks for the info, i'll be on my way." Drake nodded his head and started to run, "Haze City...," he said, "I hope i'm not too late."

The buff man smirked. "Heh." He watched the guy walk away for a little bit. "Come on." He mumbled he said to the other guy. They both walked into the apartment and closed the door.
