Rah-juh gave a shrill laugh as he carried Mikani far away from her vampire keeper. He moved swiftly through the mist, weaving through trees. This was his forest. all though that stupid pack of werewolves often times got in his way...
Heh! I'll take over soon enough. he licked his lips at the thought of spilling the blood of his own kind. The pack that lived here...had some power. But their leader was soft. Weak. Under his leadership, he'd rule with a set of iron claws. Electrified iron claws...
"We're almost there, Mikani. Get ready for a hell of a ride!"he laughed coldly and sped up.
She had figured he could read minds. How else would he know her name? Mikani had given up on trying to get away. This Werewolf was far too strong for her. But what was he planning? And....what about Laurie? He was in so much pain...and she wasn't there to help...
Rah-juh broke the silence"You're the cause of his pain, stupid."he slowed to a walk outside of a boulder. "Yeah, well this is a boulder, stupid. Can't go through it!" "Wanna bet?"the werewolf kicked aside the bushes and there, an opening in the rock. He ducked and walked inside. Down into the darkness. down and down. And down...the deeper they went, the warmer it got.
Finally, there was a flicker of light beyond a curtain. He stepped into a chamber and tossed Mikani onto a bed. She landed with a thud on the soft blankets, looking quite confused. She looked around. There was a desk made of rather dark wood. A chair. Some books and papers. A bookshelf...it looked like a house! The walls were rather bare, with the exception of a few old photos. There was the gold curtain Rah-juh was standing in front of...and another curtain the color of rich red wine.
"If you get cold you're more than welcome to use one of the wolfskins- They're under the blankets."he motioned to the red curtain"That opens up into a corridor which will take you to the kitchen, so to speak. It's just a table, chairs, and a pantry of canned fruits, dried meat, and other...food. You're welcome to that as well. And in there....you'll find a green curtain which leads to a large, empty room. Don't go in there...."
"Why....?"
"Why?"he crossed his arms, his lips pulling into a thin frown"Because that leads to my room of....various items."
"No. Why-" "Am I being so nice now?"he raised a brow, staring at her with dark black eyes. His eyes had lost their...cold...look, but they still weren't very kind looking"Because I'm not ready to use you yet."he vanished behind the gold curtain...

Laurie sped into Cloudy city, and parked in a parking ramp. He got out of his car and started to run for the misty forest, it was only on the outskirts of town.
"I have to hurry," he said to himself, running as fast as a bullet. His hair blew in the wind and his shirt collar flapped in the wind.
"I can't have him kill her," he said with determination. He decided to accept the human emotions because there was no way of avoiding it anyway...
He reached the outskirts of the misty forest. It sure was misty, and dark. Not even the sunlight penetraited the thick expanse of trees.
His pain was finally gone, he knew what he needed to do, he needed to accept his new emotions.
He ran through the forest, keeping an eye out for any sign of danger. It was a werewolf territory anyway. Laurie tried to stay within the trees. To hide.

The forest was still. There werewolf pack was dealing with something else at the moment. All was quiet.
Suddenly, there was a streak of chesnut and amber that struck Laurie as he ran. A large chesnut wolf stood, fangs bared and ready to fight. Powerful legs ready to lunged at the drop of a hat, it spoke loud and clear.
WHAT BUSINESS HAVE YOU HERE, VAMPIRE!? well....it was more of a snarly....shout.
---
Mikani had fallen asleep, curled up on the bed and under a few blankets. Laurie...Laurie please...be all right... she was having a series of nightmares of a dying Laurie on the train...with Rah-juh as the cause. She rolled over, looking much paler than she normally was.
Outside, Rah-juh was perched in a tree, sniffing the air. "Hot damn....he's here and with one of the packmembers..."he untied the black mask from his belt and slipped it over his face. The werewolf flipped up his hood and took off, his cloak looking like two hellish wings...

Laurie fell to the ground. He looked around to see what hit him, and there it was, a werewolf, but Laurie knew right away that it wasn't Rah-juh. "I'm trying to get something of mine back from Rah-juh," Laurie said as he set himself in a fighting position.
"I've heard you've been having problems with him lately, and i've heard from a little birdy (or birdy's for that matter) somewhere that he's trying to overtake your pack," Laurie said raising a brow.
he just hoped the werewolf would actually listen to him. he really wanted to save his fight for the real deal.

The werewolf's ears perked up at the mentioning of Rah-juh. She morphed into her human form, an elegant girl with rich chocolate skin and chesnut colored hair that had been pulled back into a long braid. She gazed at Laurie with bright amber eyes"You know of the Bandit King?"she spoke slowly. The werewolf hadn't taken her human for in at least fifty years.
"Yes. He is trying to take over...and create a mega pack. Have the tales of his deeds spread outside the werewolf community?"she took a cautious step forward.
He could hear them talking. He slowed down, moving like he was stalking prey. That vampire, Laurie was his name? had started talking with the alpha's daughter...

The wind carried Rah-juh's scent towards the female and Laurie.
Aw damnit! he took off quickly, running as fast as he could. Damn! The wind had just given away his position! The werewolf was now heading back to his hollow as fast as lightning. If Laurie found her.... DAMNIT! he dove through the bush and into the hollow, falling down into the depths of his 'home'.
"Moon City?"she stopped speaking"He's here!"with a howl, she returned to her wolf form, tearing off into the night, away from Rah-juh's scent...

"Wake up, girl!"Rah-juh was shaking Mikani roughly. She woke up and mumbled something, rubbing her eyes"Nnnnn?" "Get up!"he pulled her roughly to her feet, muttering bitterly. His hideout was going to be discovered by the worst person possible! Scratch that, worse vampire possible.
With Mikani still half asleep, he managed to het her onto his back, piggy-back style. Through the gold curtain and up....out through the bushes and into the forest....
I only hope he's not close by....
"It's....cold....."Mikani had a wolfskin draped around her shoulders, but the air was cold, and Rah-juh was moving fast...

Laurie followed the scent, it started moving again.
"If i go this way i'll be able to cut him off," he said mumbling to himself. He ran quick and without a sound. Laurie stopped shortly, he held out his hand and blew. Snow started falling through the trees and the air turned frigid cold. Beautiful soft snowflakes that looked like feathers.
Laurie started running again, but soo cane across a fresh scent, it was him...and Mikani was with him. With it snowing Laurie felt more confident, it was his safe haven. Almost like a friend, the snow was quiet and listened.

"Damn....she can't take the cold...."Rah-juh set Mikani down under a tree, draping his cloak over her. He still wore his mask. "Damn...I have to get her warm..."he paced back and forth, muttering to himself. This wasn't good. Mikani wasn't dressed for the cold. And Rah-juh didn't want her to die...
Snow was sticking to his hair, glittering in the moonlight. This was getting bad...

Was that the vampire's thought he just heard? No...it couldn't be...
"Keep it together, Rah-juh...."he stood still, lost in thought. He got an idea. "Stand up."he pulled Mikani to her feet and pulled her against him, wrapping his arms around her and holding her tightly. He was warmer than humans, so hopefully....she would warm up. Mikani rested her head against Rah-juh's chest, greatful for the warmth.
The werewolf gave a smug, victorious smile. He was winning. Stupid vampire

Laurie was enraged. Pain started to shoot through his head again. He weaved his fingers through his hair again and tilted his head down. "stop...stop...stop," He whispered breathing heavily. His pain ceased almost instantly and he lifted his head up again.
He couldn't sit there anymore, he needed to get Mikani now, before Rah-juh won.
Laurie jumped out from behind the bushes. He sneered, his eyes, not glowing purple but a deep blue. "Suprise," Laurie said in a playful manner, "Now give her back."

Rah-juh bared his canine-fangs"Hell no! What good is she to you? You're a bloodsucker!"he felt her shiver"Besides, if she went with you, she'd freeze to death."he tightened his grip on Mikani, causing her to squirm and wince with pain.
"L-Laurie?"her voice quivered as she spoke. He came...he...he actually came. She tried to break away from the Bandit King "Laurie!"
