Too Late... « Thread Started on Nov 28, 2007, 8:39pm »
"We are arriving at Moon city," A announcer said calmly.
Laurie jolted awake, eyes wide open. He was startled by the announcment, but realized soon that he was okay...well...kind of.
His wound had almost finished healing by now, but he awoke with a massive headache.
Laurie looked around confused, Mikani isn't there. He had forgotten that Rah-juh had stolen her away. Sorrow filled body and he shuttered. He stood up and whiped the dry blood off his face. He looked out the broken window and noticed that the train was just pulling into the station.
The doors opened and he walked out. Other people, no matter how battered up he looked, seemed to stare in awe. This town was full of vampires, but Laurie was as handsome as the mayor himself.
"I need to get home," he said tiredly. And he ran home, his apartment was only a mile away, which for a vampire, was nothing but a short jog.
He stood in front of a tall red brick building, with many windows, most of which the blinds were closed because it was daylight. He walked up to the door and pulled a key out of his pocket. He opened the door and walked in quickly letting the door shut slowly behind him. Up to # 7 he went, he stoppped in front of his door and used another key to open it.
Inside his apartment was lavish surroundings. Soft leather chairs and couch, top of the line appliances, and a TV to die for. There was more but its too much to say.
He shut and locked the door behind hiim and headed straight for the bathroom. Laurie took off his shirt and threw it in a basket. He stood in front of the mirror, his hands on the counter top.
"I'm a mess," He said disgusted. He strippped the rest of his clothes and jumped into the shower. He was all full of blood, every vampire needs a shower sometime.
Some time later, he was all dressed up again ready to go outside and get one with his life, but also searching for a way to find Mikani. He now wears his dark jeans with his black leather combat boots still, but with a white button down shirt. He love those shirts, and he always set then as having only half the buttons buttoned, the ladies loved it.
He grabbed his keys and walked out the door, and locked it.
Laurie walked outside into the sunlight, it didn't hurt him, but he found it annoying, the sun always being in his eyes. But the sun made his hair shine more of the red in the brown.
He walked down the street slowly kicking at a rock in his path.
"Oh Mikani...where are you?" he thought to himself, making it seem like he was thinking way too hard to other people.

"Did you hear?"a group of vampires were talking animatedly"That bandit werefold stole a human from a vampire." "Really? Is it the same one that's responsible for the robberies?"another one spoke. "His name is Rah-juh. And there's a rumor that he's going to overthrow the leader of the pack in Misty Forest..." "The old wolf?" "Man...they may be stupid mutts, but even they don't deserve that..." many of the others nodded in agreement.

Laurie stopped short, and listened intensly. "Mikani," He thought, "Misty forest?" Laurie noted in his brain to get there as soon as he could. She wouldn't be dead now, Rah-juh likes her too much to kill her right away.
"I need to hurry," he said. he ran into the apartment garage area, and opened the door with the keypad. There it was a shiny Mitsubishi Lancer in blue waiting for him. He hopped in and turned the key in the ignition, the car roared to life and he put it in reverse. The car sped out backwards, Laurie turned the wheeland the car went into a skid. he placed the car back into drive and raced down the street.
It was his mission now to find out where Rah-juh is hiding, and fast, or it could be too late.
