Laurie eventually changes her into a vampire and they are finally able to be happy. But visits from A troublesome Werewolf and a vicious Hunter puts a halt in the festivities.
Laurie and Mikani overcome many obsticles together, but that doesn't mean their relationship can end tragically.

Laurie lay in the snow staring at the sky, "She gets so mad, so easily," he thought, "I just wanted to have some fun." He sighed and rolled over onto his side, "I'll just let her be alone for a while, maybe she'll mellow out."

Laurie rolled over onto his back and closed his eyes, he felt a soft kiss on the lips, "I thought you went home...," he said softly, opening his eyes. To his suprise someone was leaning over him. A woman with short blond hair and brown eyes loomed over him, she didn't look any older than Laurie. Laurie's eyes widened and he sat up staring at her shocked, "Who are you?" he asked.
She smiled brightly, "I'm Presea," she said leaning closer to him. He didn't like this at all, she just showed up and acted like they were dating or something. Presea wrapped her arms around his left arm and held it tightly. Laurie looked at her like she was crazy, "Are you homeless or something?" he asked trying to pry her off. He stood up pulling her with him, "I'm not homeless, silly," she responded smiling, "I live with you." He looked at her horrified, "Uhh...last time I checked, i lived with my lover." He pushed her away, but she responded by falling to the ground and wrapping her arms around his leg, "Please don't leave me here...," she said looking up at him with sad eyes. "I don't even know you, you're weird, go find someone else to bother," he growled, "I don't have time for this." She pouted and held onto his leg even tighter, "But I live with you." Laurie was mad now, "Please just leave me alone!" he yelled prying her arms off his leg, he started walking away towards town. Presea sat and pouted, her black coat all full of snow, she got up, ran to Laurie and linked her arm with his. He turned to her, "What do you want now?" he asked frowning. She giggled, "I live with you," she responded. Laurie rolled his eyes and kept walking, Presea hanging onto his arm. "Fine, you can come home with me, but you can only stay for a little while," he compromised, a frown still apparent. Presea smiled cutely and continued to walk with Laurie.

They entered the suburb area, rows of apartments and small businesses lined the streets. Presea stopped abruptly jerking Laurie to a hault as well, "What now?" he wined watching her. She smiled and kept walking, "Oh nothing..." Finally they got to his apartment building and walked up the stairs and down the hall to apartment number seven, "Here we are," Laurie said yanking his arm away from Presea, "Now you can only stay for a little while." She giggled, "Okay..."
Laurie opened the door and walked through, Presea following close behind him, "Wow you're house is sooo pretty," she said looking around. Laurie didn't know how Mikani would act with this...unexpected guest, hopefully they would get along. "Uh...Mikani...I'm home," he said taking off his coat and boots. Presea did the same. She linked her arm around his again and held it tight.

She sat up and opened her eyes. There was an...unfamiliar girl linking arms with Laurie. "Laurie....who the hell is she?"had she been replaced...?
"I know you're mad but...but really! Don't replace me!"she looked very nervous...

She hissed something to herself"I'm going to bed, Laurie..."she walked to the bedroom and shut the door, almost slamming it. Did she mind? Of course she minded! That chick was trying to steal her man away! Her man!

He looked to Presea, "I'm so sorry, she's a bit cranky," he said pulling himself away from her. Laurie walked over to the couch, sat down and began to watch TV. "OH can I watch?" she asked skiping over to Laurie. She sat down and snuggled up against him. Laurie looked at her strange and tried to move away from her, but she moved whenever he did. He decided to ignore it and resumed watching TV.

Mikani muttered to herself. She wanted Laurie...but no...he brought home some...some girl! "I'll give her until tomorrow to leave...."if that girl didn't leave...she'd have to... "I don't want to leave Laurie...."

Laurie sighed, "I'll be right back," he said while getting up, "You can watch whatever you want, I don't care." He gave her a friendly smile and walked over to the bedroom. presea watched Laurie for a while but then got caught up in a TV show.
"Mikani?" he whispered walking through the door. He closed it softly behind him, the room was dark. "Don't be mad, please?" he pleaded sitting on the edge of the bed, "She needed a place to stay...I couldn't leave her by herself."

He looked at her with sad eyes, "What Am i supposed to do?" he asked, "Throw her out?" Laurie layed down next to Mikani, "I know she's hanging all over me, but she'll get the clue sometime," he said looking up at her, "Maybe if you actually stick around, she'll give up."
