A wonderful love story between the two vampires, Laurie and Mikani. Laurie rescues Mikani and they fall in love instantly. But one problem lies....Mikani is still human. Laurie eventually changes her into a vampire and they are finally able to be happy. But visits from A troublesome Werewolf and a vicious Hunter puts a halt in the festivities.
Laurie and Mikani overcome many obsticles together, but that doesn't mean their relationship can end tragically.

They take a long time to get to know each other, Drake making many mistakes that could have been fatal for their relationship, Kai being kidnapped or transformed by the evil being within her...Syn. Syn is then gone, but comes back full force to despose of Kai.

Laurie sat in the black leather chair, "Mentally unstable? Boredom? Who knows..." he said rubbing his neck. His neck hurt from passing out on the floor the night before. "Its horrible that he's after Drake and Kai now, but i'm glad he's not after you, I hate when you get taken away..."

Laurie chuckled, "You got that spot on, and knowing me, i'd be the one cleaning the cake off you." Then he really thought about his statment and looked her way with a mischevious grin.

She was hit with it. "Ack! You know..." She set the pillow aside, "I've never had a man lick me in paces like tha- Oh wait...there was that one time at the club when I got drunk..." she blushed and decided to end the story there. "Nothing else happened, love."
