Part I
The story that goes on and on. Drake and Kai, unlikely lovers, but destined lovers, meet in the most bizzare place...and alley...
They take a long time to get to know each other, Drake making many mistakes that could have been fatal for their relationship, Kai being kidnapped or transformed by the evil being within her...Syn. Syn is then gone, but comes back full force to despose of Kai.

Nathan walked quickly through the doors and snapped the lights on, "Hurry, set Drake on the table and set Kai on a bed in the other room," Nathan commanded. It was the only time he felt like he was in control.
While he waited for the others to catch up with things Nathan readied a morphine shot for Kai.

Duke rushed into the room and placed Drake on the bed. Now that he let go of Drake he realized her was covered in blood. "Dam...this was a new shirt to..." He grumbled under his breath.

Tina placed Kai gently on a nearby bed and turned to Duke angrily, "Don't be a baby, you can always go out and by another one of your hideous shirts." Turning away from duke she quickly examined the wound on Kai's neck and said to Nathan, "I think were going to need more than a morphine shot, the tissue aaround the wound is begining to darken."

Duke shot her a nasty look and pulled his shirt off. "They are not hideous." He growled. "It one of the new fashions out there." He crumpled his shirt up into a ball and set it down on a near by bed. Suddenly his phone rang a strange ring tone. He pulled it out off his pocket, looked at the screen and opened it. "Duke...." He said smoothly.
It was the Boss.
Duke it's me... listen we have a new recruit and I need you to do a background check and interview him.
"Now!" He asked in surprise.
Yes now...he's at HOME right now.
"I just got back from helping saving two lives! Can't you change it and have him come back later?" He wined.
No...you will do it now. He growled.
Duke let out a sigh and nodded. "Fine I'll be there in a few minutes." After saying that he closed his phone. "You have got to be kidding me!" He growled. "I have to go, but keep me posted." As he said this he walked out of the ER.

Nathan rolled his eyes, he was being rushed now, he felt for the uninfected side of her neck, "It will have to do, she's unconscious now, I'm not going to give her anything more until we know she'll surely be okay," he said quickly shooting the morphine in her neck. "Werewolf toxin, fix it" He ran back into the other room to check on Drake. Nathan put a hand to his forehead and noticed right away that his body temperature was at dangerous levels. "Tina!," he called, "Take care of him first!"
Drake was conscious again but he couldn't open his eyes or move, as his temperature rose, pain seared through his body, almost like he was being burned alive. His breathing was no longer uneven, but heavy. He started to panic.
Nathan felt around for any wounds, then he found the wound from the sword. Blood dripped off the table into the floor. Nathan rummaged through drawers and came back with a pair of scissors, in which he cut straight down the center of Drake's shirt and pulled it off. He set the scissors down and picked up a huge chunk of gauze in which he pressed it over the wound to attempt to stop it from bleeding.

Tina rushed over and saw the imense bleeding. Quickly running over to a clear table she began taking several pieces of equipment out of her bag and quickly settign it up. Takign a sterile needle out she ran over to Nathan and Drake and found the vein in crook of Drake's elbow and stuck it in. Drawing out a small sample of blood she said quickly, "It's going to take me at least two minutes to find out what kind of poison is in his system, I've never seen symptoms like these before. Until then, try and contol the bleeding." Not waiting for a reply she ran back over to the table and began to work.

Nathan rolled his eyes again, "Stupid Tina, trying to tell me how to do my job," he thought. Still pressing the gauze on the wound, Nathan reached over and felt around on the counter for more. He then changed the gauze out.
"Get me out of here!" Drake yelled, but no one could hear, all he was doing was thinking. He could feel the pain and knew that he'd been poisoned, but his mind made up false scenarios. Sweat streamed down his face and the rest of his body. Since his temperature was so high, his body began to freak out. He needed an antidote for at least the poison soon.

Tina worked hastily analyzing the blood, she and began mixing several chemicals together and placed a drop of blood on a slide and added the mixture. Sliding it under a microscope she focused in on the blood and saw the poison breaking apart and finally dissapear. Filling a needle with the antidote she ran over to Drake and Nathan, saying, "I'm not sure if this is goign to work, it looks like the poison was a mixture of several rare poisons, But if we don't do anything then he dies anyway." Sticking the needle into Drakes arm she injected the antidote.

As soon as the antidote has some time to go through Drake's body, he could start moving. His eyes shot open, they were purple in color, and he began to scream and squirm on the table. He hit Nathan back and knocked the wind out of him. Nathan didn't even worry about Drake's bleeding side now, he had to restrain him, "Tina! Hold his legs down!" He leaned against Drake's body and held his arms down with his right hand and the side of his body, and then Nathan covered Drake's mouth and held his head down on the table.
The antidote started working, Drake's body temperature began to slowly drop, but the pain didn't cease.

Tina held all of her body weight onto his legs, forcing them on the table. "We need more people here to restrain him. I need to make another antidote, this one looks like it only got rid of a couple of the symptoms," she said, above Drake's muffled screams.

Drake's side wound began healing, slowly, but it still bled. Nathan's clothes were drenched with blood. "Do you think you'll get the antidote right this time?" Nathan asked, his voice was strained, yes Nathan was strong, but he couldn't hold Drake down forever.
Geo, who had just arrived, heard the screams so he decided to go down to see what was going on. He stood in the doorway, "My God, what are you doing to him!?"
Nathan turned his head towards the door, "Trying to hold him down, we haven't found the right antidote for the poison yet, but right now....we could really use your help!"
Geo walked in and saw all the blood, "Ew...," he said quietly, "I don't have to hold down his arms do I?" he asked, a disgusted look upon his face.
"No! Just hold his legs down so Tina can make a different antidote!"

Tina mumbled a quick thanks to Goe and drew a new sample of blood from Drake and got to work fast. Makeing up several different concotions she made 5 slides and looked at each one. Looking at the first four nothing happened and when she finally came to the last slide she almost cried out in frustration. "None of them work!!" she yelled mentally. Just as she was about to pull away from the microscope she saw a slight change in the blood. Focusing in, she saw that the poison was being obliterated. With a wicked grin she said, "I think we have it this time." Running over to the three of them she injected the antidote into his arm.

As soon as the antidote had time to work, Drake stopped fighting Geo and Nathan and his screams died down into breathing. While Drake was calming down, Nathan let go of him and readied some morphine, which he injected after his screams faded. "That should help him rest better," he said setting the syringe on the counter behind him. Nathan pulled at his clothes because they felt wet, "Let me guess, he bled all over me, right?"
Geo moved back away from Drake, "Yeah...you should go change..."
"I still have to stop the bleeding on his side, then i'll take care of myself," Nathan replied.
Geo shrugged and left the room.
Nathan began looking for more gauze, in which he pressed it against the wound, "Tina, since that worked on him, maybe you should try it on the other."

Tina stepped back and said, "I'll have to take a look at the poison in her blood first." Walking over to Kai, she saw that the tissue around the wound was almost black. Takeing a small sample of blood she put a slide under the microscope and muttered, "Dammit, werewolf venom, that's always a tricky one." After a minute of testing different antidotes she found the right one and walked back over to Kai injecting it into her arm.

During the time Nathan and Tine were helping Drake Kai's skin seemed to burn. Small drops of sweat was clinging to her forehead and neck. She may have been unconscious but her body still took the effects of the bite from Rah-jah. She was very very slowly pulling out of it and was starting to wake up but she was barely able to open her eyes. Whats...going on... Her mind asked groggily. When Tina injecting the antidote she stiffened slightly.
