Laurie eventually changes her into a vampire and they are finally able to be happy. But visits from A troublesome Werewolf and a vicious Hunter puts a halt in the festivities.
Laurie and Mikani overcome many obsticles together, but that doesn't mean their relationship can end tragically.

Part I
The story that goes on and on. Drake and Kai, unlikely lovers, but destined lovers, meet in the most bizzare place...and alley...
They take a long time to get to know each other, Drake making many mistakes that could have been fatal for their relationship, Kai being kidnapped or transformed by the evil being within her...Syn. Syn is then gone, but comes back full force to despose of Kai.

Drake was restless, he couldn't sleep anymore. All he could was think about Kai, and no one else and it killed him. "How long do I have to stay here?" he thought, "I hate it here..."
And indeed he did hated HOME. It wasn't homey at all, and all he wanted to do was go grieve in his own home away from everyone...by himself. He knew that Laurie would be asked to stay, and if Laurie asked if he could go with Drake, he was planning on turning him down, but he hoped it wouldn't get to that point. He planned to leave, and that was it.
He sat up and looked around the room, "No one is here...but I need someone to help show me out..." he thought to himself. He looked at his dirty clothes and sighed, "I hate this..."
"I won't be held up in here forever..." he said softly to himself, "I'm getting out..." Drake swung his legs over the edge of the bed and put his shoes on, then he got up and headed into the ER room then to the door.
"Where are you going, Drake?" asked Nathan. he'd woken up finally after a long while and he was cleaning up some stuff in the room.
"I'm leaving...going back home," Drake replied blankly.
Nathan walked toward him, "But you should rest..."
"I'm done resting, I just want to go home...this place has no value to me and it's making me feel worse..."
Nathan sighed lightly, "Well...I can see where you're coming form but you're not healed yet..." Then he paused for a moment and continued, "But if you're really that homesick...there is no point in keeping you here...especially if it makes you feel worse..."
Drake turned to him, "Please lead me out of here...I can find my own way home..."
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah..."
Nathan walked a little bit closer but still kept a little distance, "I can lead you to the garage and let you out there...but don't you want to say goodbye to your brother?" he asked softly.
"He can call me anytime he wants..." Drake said quietly. He pulled a piece of paper from his jeans pockets and held it out, "I have a piece of paper in my hand...that has my number on it."
Nathan walked forward closer and held out his hand. Drake set the piece of paper in the palm of Nathan's hand. "Now...please show me out of here."
"I'll get in trouble for this...but being unhappy about your environment and feeling ill is a double negative...so I'll help you...this way please..." Nathan could tell where Drake was because he was emitting such a cold temperature. he walked around Drake and opened the door, "Just follow me."
Drake nodded slowly and followed Nathan who led him through the hallways until they got to an all familiar door. He opened the door and felt around on the wall for a keypad which had a whole bunch of keys on it, but Nathan pressed the biggest one and the garage door opened, "Here you are...just run for a little while until you get far enough away." Nathan gave him a smile.
Drake didn't smile back at Nathan, "Thanks..."
"You're welcome...but please...when you get back home, you have to rest and rejuvenate yourself..."
"I'll try..." Drake replied. He began walking and finally left the complex where he began to run.
Nathan sighed and shut the garage door. he walked back into the hallways and headed back to his room. He'd be in a boatload of trouble, but it was all for a good cause. "Duke is going to kill me..." he thought hiding underneath his blankets.
