A wonderful love story between the two vampires, Laurie and Mikani. Laurie rescues Mikani and they fall in love instantly. But one problem lies....Mikani is still human. Laurie eventually changes her into a vampire and they are finally able to be happy. But visits from A troublesome Werewolf and a vicious Hunter puts a halt in the festivities.
Laurie and Mikani overcome many obsticles together, but that doesn't mean their relationship can end tragically.

They take a long time to get to know each other, Drake making many mistakes that could have been fatal for their relationship, Kai being kidnapped or transformed by the evil being within her...Syn. Syn is then gone, but comes back full force to despose of Kai.

"I can't really read minds, although i can sense that your thinking about that, by the way your blood flows, i can feel it," Laurie said with a little laugh, "And by the way all humans are drawn into my eyes, i'm used to it."
Laurie escorted Mikani further down the road, "There it is," He said pointing his finger towards a giant silvery glass building. The snow fell heavy now and filled the street with a layer of feathery white.
"I hope you enjoy your breakfast, its on me," Laurie said smiling, showing his shiny teeth once again.

Laurie strolled into the entrance of the grand building with Mikani at his side.
A waitess was standing at a desk staring at him with gawking eyes. "Table for two," Laurie said flashing a brilliant smile at the waitress. ] She responded quickly, "Of course right this way." Laurie truned to smile at Mikani and followed the waitress to a little glass table set for two at the window over looking the misty forest. "I hope this is to your liking," The waitress said setting down the gold menus on the table. Laurie flashed her another stunning smile, "Its perfect, thank you very much." Laurie grew up in a gentleman, and ladylike family so his manners were impecible.
The waitress left for a moment and Laurie pulled out mikani's seat and offered her to take that seat, "Please sit down."

"Why thank you, kind sir."she smiled and took her seat. She couldn't help but feel...important. People were staring...in a good way! And it felt so...so amazing! "I'm starving. They never have any good food at raves. Just nuts and some candy...and tons of drugs and alcohol."she closed her eyes and shook her head.
"I don't understand people some times. Parties are for dancing...nothing else."

Laurie, pleased that Mikani accepted his gesture sat down in the chair across the table.
"Well they have none of that kind of food here," he said with a giggle. He grabbed the menu, opened it, and read it carefully with a frown on his face. "I don't know what to get," He said again with the shimmering smile.
"I'm just glad they serve wine all day," Laurie said licking his lips. he looked at Mikani who seemed to be enjoying the limelight.

Laurie chuckled, "You are just full of questions." He flipped the hair out of his face and noticed the waitress coming. "Are we all ready to order?" She said looking at Laurie all googlyeyed. He peeked at the menu qick and answered. "Ummm, Strawberry Waffles with whipped cream for the lady, and how about some french toast, leave me lots of butter," he said smiling. The waitress could have practically died by his smile. "It that all?" She asked.
Laurie looked at Mikani and back to the waitress, "Two glasses of burgandy please," Laurie looked at Mikani once again, "Is that alright with you?" he said brushing his hair once again out of his face.
The moon glowed through the window and glistened off the snow falling into the forest.

"Yes, it's perfect."Mikani smiled, trying to hide her jealously. She couldn't help it! She didn't want to share his smile with anyone. But of course that would be rude...
It'd also be like caging a bird. A super hot bird with amazing eyes... she stared at him, well, past him actually. she was looking out the window at the falling snow.

"Hmm...I never knew you though about me that way," Laurie said raising a brow.
The waitress quickly came around the corner with two wine glasses filled about halfway. She set them down on the table, one in front of Laurie, and one in front of Mikani. "Here you go,"she said, "Your food will be out shortly."
Laurie smiled at her again, "Thank you." She practically fell on the floor walking away. "Hmm...maybe it was my shirt,"Laurie thought tugging at his half open crimson button down shirt.
While Mikani was looking away at the snow, he reached in his pocket and pulled out a small red tablet that looked like a shocktart.

"What's that? A mint or something?"she held the glass carefully and took a sip. Ah, wine. Liquid fire, in her opinion. And it was good, too...so much better than the beer at the rave.

Laurie slipped the tablet into his wine glass. The crimson color blocked out the red color of the wine. "Its a blood tablet," he said, "I keeps me from drinking human blood." He looked an Mikani.
"Oh, and I know I am beautiful, I'm a vampire, thats how i am," He said taking a drink from the glass. He closed his eyes in enjoyment.
"Its been a while since i had a chance to drink," He said sighing afterward, "better the tablet than yours."

"I'd rather become a vampire by your fangs than by another."she admitted"And I don't want to become a werewolf...transforming into a flea bitten animal during the full moon. Ugh."she shivered.
"Besides...it's not like my family would miss me or anything. I'm kinda the screw up kid, ya know?"

Laurie gave Mikani a confused look, "But we just met."
Soon they were interupted by the waitress who returned with thier food.. "Strawberry waffles?" She said looking at Laurie. He pointed Mikani's way. She set the food down in front of her. And placed the french toast in front of Laurie who smiled at her while taking a drink of his wine. The waitress went back to other things and left Laurie and Mikani to talk again.
"I understand that your the 'screw up kid' but i just can't let you go through the change," he said with a look of concern, "I was only told to change someone unless they were in a situation involving near death or inevitable death."
He tugged at his arm band. Laurie had a black arm band with his family's insignia on it. He always tugged on it when he was nervous about something. And nervousness was something he could not hide, even under his beauty.
