A wonderful love story between the two vampires, Laurie and Mikani. Laurie rescues Mikani and they fall in love instantly. But one problem lies....Mikani is still human. Laurie eventually changes her into a vampire and they are finally able to be happy. But visits from A troublesome Werewolf and a vicious Hunter puts a halt in the festivities.
Laurie and Mikani overcome many obsticles together, but that doesn't mean their relationship can end tragically.

They take a long time to get to know each other, Drake making many mistakes that could have been fatal for their relationship, Kai being kidnapped or transformed by the evil being within her...Syn. Syn is then gone, but comes back full force to despose of Kai.

Laurie jogged after her, "What are you waiting for!?" he asked stopping in front of her, "Go do something." He threw a snowball in her face and ran off.

"Ack!"she was caught off gaurd, falling over when the snowball hit her. She sat up and began making a snowball of her own. "I'll get you, Laurie!"

Laurie stopped quicky and smooshed some snow together in an icey ball, "Yeah right!" he made about five snowballs and carried them in his arms. He started running again preparing for battle.

The snowball flew and hit him in the butt causing him to fall face first into the snow, "Oh, you'll be sorry," he said wiping the snow off his face, his eyes thinning. Laurie picked up one of his dropped snowballs and threw it at Mikani hard and fast.

Laurie layed down in the snow and stared at the sky, "With your fire power i don't have a chance against you, unless i hurt you, but i don't want to do that," he said making a snow angel. He smiled, started to giggle, then rolled around in the snow.

Laurie raised a brow, "Well...mind you, i have been a vampire from birth, i'm older than you, and i've had my powers forever," he listed staring at the sky, "I'm afraid i might hurt you."
He rolled over to Mikani and leaned over her holding her hands to the ground. Laurie smiled and ice formed over her hands, freezing her to the ground, "In only a flick of the wrist your hands could be full of blood, don't even taunt me." Laurie moved away from her and layed in the snow.

She turned rather pale and remained frozen to the ground. She didn't want to make him angry by melting the...erm...chains? "I...I guess you're right..."Mikani closed her eyes and inhaled deeply. The air was cold...crisp... She loved it.

Laurie sat up and shook the snow out of his rusty brown hair. "Thats what I thought," he said under his breath, he felt irritated that she tried to challenge him, even with her fire power she couldn't win. "And the weather says its snowing," he said snapping his fingers. Snow fell softly from the sky and landed on his bare hand. Laurie lifted it to his face and smiled.

Mikani whispered to herself"I like the snow..."she still didn't dare to free herself, half afraid of what he'd do to her. Love and respect...that was what she had for him. And a pinch of fear never hurt either, huh? She opened her eyes and watched the snow fall, though some of it melted when it came close to falling on her...
