A wonderful love story between the two vampires, Laurie and Mikani. Laurie rescues Mikani and they fall in love instantly. But one problem lies....Mikani is still human. Laurie eventually changes her into a vampire and they are finally able to be happy. But visits from A troublesome Werewolf and a vicious Hunter puts a halt in the festivities.
Laurie and Mikani overcome many obsticles together, but that doesn't mean their relationship can end tragically.

They take a long time to get to know each other, Drake making many mistakes that could have been fatal for their relationship, Kai being kidnapped or transformed by the evil being within her...Syn. Syn is then gone, but comes back full force to despose of Kai.

Laurie breathed in the cold winter air, "This is my kind of place," he said running out into the field and plopping down in the snow.
He rolled around a few times then sat up, "So where are you going to train Mikani?" he asked shaking the snow out of his hair, "I don't want to be in your way."

"Well....I want to know more of what I can do. Test my limits..."she stretched the fire into a long rope and made it slither across the ground. After making it vanish, Mikani began experimenting with creating small explosions...

Laurie laid down in the snow and stared at the sky, "After eating all that sugary food...and watching a movie..." he said yawning, "I'm tired..." He put his hand behind his head and closed his eyes, he wouldn't really fall asleep, he was just going to rest his eyes. Laurie sighed heavily and chuckled, "I hope Mikani doesn't think i'm dead," he thought smiling.

Even from a distance he could feel the heat from the fire, but also the coolness of the snow all around him, Laurie sighed, "Its such a good night to be out in the snow," he said softly to himself. He rolled onto his side and started to pile snow.

After what seemed like forever, the flames fizzled out. "Phew!"she fell back in the snow, exhausted. "I made progress...."she smiled, pleased with herself. I'm not going to be defenseless....

Laurie hummed to himself like a child and he continued to pile snow into a miniature snowman, "I guess we meet again," he whispered, "This time you'll have a smile." He smiled cutely and drew a small smile on the little snowman, "We all need to smile sometime," he whispered again. Laurie piled some more snow into another snowman looking shape, which he also gave a smile to. He looked at the first one he made, "Now you have a girlfriend...," he whispered giggling afterward, then he looked at it with a serious face, "Be nice to her." He smiled and started humming to himself again.

Laurie destroyed the snowmen before she got too close, "There is no snowmen...," he said timidly, "You're seeing things." He blushed and gave Mikani a warm smile.
