A wonderful love story between the two vampires, Laurie and Mikani. Laurie rescues Mikani and they fall in love instantly. But one problem lies....Mikani is still human. Laurie eventually changes her into a vampire and they are finally able to be happy. But visits from A troublesome Werewolf and a vicious Hunter puts a halt in the festivities.
Laurie and Mikani overcome many obsticles together, but that doesn't mean their relationship can end tragically.

They take a long time to get to know each other, Drake making many mistakes that could have been fatal for their relationship, Kai being kidnapped or transformed by the evil being within her...Syn. Syn is then gone, but comes back full force to despose of Kai.

Laurie followed close behind her. He was trying to absorb everything around him, it had been ages since he was in a club. When everyone started calling to Mikani, Laurie soon realized that she was in fact the Midnight Cinderella.

She turned to ask Laurie what he thought, but a man grabbed her from behind. "Mikani!" He chimed. He was a handsome man, but obviously human. "What's shak'n, girl? I haven't seen you since our last rave." He was getting awfuly...friendly with her.
"Ah, Ian! It has been too long!" she giigled. "Ian, this is Laurie, my fiance."

Ian let go of Mikani and held a hand out to Laurie. "So your the man who's managed to wrangle her heart? Damn, none of us thought this day would come!"
"Ian!" she punched him playfully. "Laurie, Ian's like a brother of mine."
He pouted. "Damn, he's fiiine! Mikani, why are you stealing all the hot ones?"

Laurie smiled and shook his hand. He shook his head a little as if he couldn't believe what he just heard, "Did he just call me 'fine'?" he thought awkwardly.

Mikani gave Ian another friendly punch. "You're stolen half my boyfriends from me, Ian! I'm not allowing you to steal my fiance." She smiled and tilted her head to one side, releavling the bite marks...
"You've been bitten..." He traced his fingers over the scar. "Should have known our little Mikani would always crave the night..."

Laurie chuckled softly at her comment, "Don't worry Mikani, i'm not into men...," he thought. He looked from Ian to Mikani, his stunning blue eyes shimmering in the changing lights.

"Come on, love! Let's dance like old times!" Ian tugged Mikani away, into the throng of the crowd. They began to dance, moving in sync with each other. Of course, they were pro. Many of the new clubbers stopped to stare, while those who knew Mikani and Ian clapped.

The bartender set his wine in front of him and he took a sip before acknowledging the woman. He turned to her and gave her sexy smile, and looked her up and down, "Well, I've never been here before, but would you mind showing me around?" he asked in his velvety seductive voice. He looked her up and down again. He was implying actions that were way more than friendly... Laurie was slipping into old habits.
