Part I
The story that goes on and on. Drake and Kai, unlikely lovers, but destined lovers, meet in the most bizzare place...and alley...
They take a long time to get to know each other, Drake making many mistakes that could have been fatal for their relationship, Kai being kidnapped or transformed by the evil being within her...Syn. Syn is then gone, but comes back full force to despose of Kai.

Kai's hands were bound behind her back, her eyes were covered, and she was gaged. Kai struggled to get herself untied but something was holding her back. She saw locked in a room with Mark and some one else that she didn't know. Mark was talking with the unknown person. As they talked Kai listened in silents.
They were in some sort of office. A large desk was to the far wall and a few large safes were lined against the walls. "I'm telling you this girl has a lot of spunk she'll make big money." Mark said as he walked up to the desk placing both hands on the desk. "I've read her mind and looked through her thoughts. She has done things I've never seen before."

The other man leaned back in his chair, "Well i i do trust you Mark," he said placing a hand to his chin, "If you think she has the potential, then proceed." He leaned forward again into the light of a desk lamp, his skin was pale and his hair was jet black which hung in his face.

Mark gave a twisted smile. "Thank you sir. You wont regret this." He said with a bow. He walked over to Kai and picked her up.
Kai didn't understand what was going on. What dose he mean? When Mark grabbed her and lifted her up she tried to struggle but his grip tightened. A strange voice echoed in her head. Now my dear you are going to do what I tell you. Kai stiffened. I'm not going to do what you ask. She thought back. You wont have a chose.It hissed back.
Mark quickly turned and looked at the man in the desk. "Do we have an area available to being?" He asked with a small smile.

The man smiled grimly, "Choose an area that will benifit the profit," he said with a small chuckle. His icy blue eyes thinned, "I expect that there will be no trouble, Mark, so make sure everything goes along correctly."

"That wont be a problem." He said with a big grin and walked out the door. When he was outside the door Mark took off Kai's blind fold. He gave her a twisted smile. "Now my little puppet time for me to take control of your strings." He whispered. His eyes turned a deep purple and he made sure she was looking into his eyes. Kai tried to look away but she could. Her mind slowly became blank and her eyes turned dull. Mark gave a smile and untied her wrists and took off her gag. Lets go. he thought. He started to walk to an area and Kai followed behind him like an obedient puppy.
They walked passed large arena's surrounded by people. Man and women cheered and roared. Some people waved money in the air, others were paying people. Mark smiled "Looks like my fellow colleges are doing well." He continued to walk down the crowded areas until they came upon and empty arena. "Who wants to see a real fight!" Mark shouted. Men and women turned and looked at Mark with interest. Mark looked at Kai and nodded his head. Kai walked to the center of the arena and waited. Slowly a group started to form around the arena. "Who wants to fight are newest fighter Kai!" He shouted.

Drake ran and ran, not even stopping once, he had to find her before the situation got bad. He got to town and heard people cheering and yelling, so he went to investigate. "Kai?" he whispered to himself, he saw her through an opening in the crowd.

She was fighting her tenth opponent with in an hour. This man was a very large burly man. He was bald and had a bushy beard. Kai stood there like a statue waiting for orders. Mark was on the side lines fanning through a large wad of money. More and more people were coming to him holding money. Mark turned to the arena and held out his arms. "Begin!" He yelled. The large burly man charged at her. Kai stared at him blankly. Go! He hissed in her mind. Kai snapped her fingers and small rocks ran up out of the ground and shot at him very quickly. The man covered his face as the rocks flew at him. The rocks hit the man and shot through him. He fell to the ground and held his chest. He coughed and blood dripped from his mouth. Kai continued to look at the man blankly. Dispose of him. He hissed in Kai's head. Kai walked over to the man and stomped her foot on his back so he fell flat to the ground. Kai grabbed his chin and the back of his head. Suddenly two men ran out of the crowd. Mark held up is hand and Kai stopped moving but she did not remove her hands from his neck and chin.

Drake pushed his way through the crowd so he was in front, "Kai!" he called to her. He was worried, she didn't seem the same, it didn't even seem as thought Syn was controlling her, so who was it? He looked around and saw Mark, then he looked back at Kai. "Kai!" he called again.

Kai didn't even notice Drake calling her. The two men ran over to Mark. "Thats enough Mark." One of them growled. "We can't loose him. He's the only one we have thats any good." Mark gave him a wicked grin. "How much are you willing to pay to keep him alive." both of the men growled and dug into their pockets pulling out a large wad of money. Mark snatched it from their hands. "Thank you gentlemen. It was a pleasure doing business with you." He snapped his fingers at Kai. Kai grabbed the man by the back of the shirt and dragged him over to the two men. She dropped him in front of their feet and stood next to Mark. The two men bent down and called over a few other man. They all bent down and picked the man up and carried him away. Mark brushed Kai's cheek. "Well done my little puppet." He said softly. Mark raised his hands in the air "Who's next!" He yelled.

Drake ran out from the crowd and stopped in front of Kai, he put hands on her shoulders and shook her, "Kai? Lets get out of here, please," he said trying to catch his breath. He saw her eyes, they were blank, "She's so...robotic...," he thought, his blue eyes widening. She was being controlled.

Mark sneered at Drake then it turned into a smiled. "Well well look who's here." He chuckled. He stuffed the money in his jacket pocket. Kai pushed his hands off of her shoulders and stepped back. Mark walked up behind her and draped his arms over her shoulders. "Are you Kai's next challenger?" He asked with a sly grin. Mark brushed some blood stained hair out of her face.

Drake growled at him, "I guess so," he said moving away from both of them. He may apears to be angry, but he really was worrying, "I'm sorry if i hurt you kai..." he thought sadly. What else was there for him to do? He would have to fight her either way to get to Mark.

Mark smiled and snapped his fingers. Kai walked to the center of the area. "We have a new challenger!" He yelled. The crowd started to cheer and yell. Lots of people ran to Mark waving money in his face. Kai stood in the arena waiting for the match to start. Her blood stained hair hung in her face, some of the strands clung to her face cover in wet blood. Her hands hung by her sides. She waited to strike...like a cobra in waiting.
