Kai and Drake walked into the main entrance and headed to the stairs carrying there bags of clothes and video games.

Drake sighed, "Hopefully the manager won't freak out," he said walking up the stairs, "I need to lay down for a while..."
He waited in front of her door blinking at her.

"No worries. I think he's been going out with his wife a lot lately." Kai said with a yawn. She pulled out her key and opened the door to her apartment. She walked in carrying the bag with the PS2 and game.

He shuffled in resting the two bags next to the bedroom door, "Can I rest for a while?" he asked walking over to her, "Maybe if I rest foor a little bit my arm will feel better..."

"I was going to get some sleep to. But yes you may." She put her bag down in her room. She walked over to her closet and pulled out her gun and placed it next to her other gadgets. Her daggers still had some blood on them from when she last used them. She pulled off her jacket and threw it to the floor. She lightly sat down on her bed and gave a big yawn.

Kai turned a soft pick also. "Um...sure." She said softly. She crawled to her pillow and lied her head down. She patted the pillow next to her's and gave a small smile.

Drake gave her a small smile, he walked over and layed down next to her on his back.
He stared at her for a while then closed his eyes, he wasn't really sleeping. He sighed loudly.

Kai slowly closed her eyes and drifted to sleep. Kai had a different dream this time. It was of what had happened in the alleyway that night. Drake fought against the three men. The leader held a dagger to her throat. She saw when Syn shot the greasy haired man and when she killed one of the others. She could almost feel the blood on her lips again. Suddenly everything around her dissolved and was replaced with an all black space. She looked around and saw a person standing in the shadows. "Who's there" she asked. The figure giggled at her question. "You knows who it is." They giggled. Kai walked toward the figure. The lunged at her and pushed her to the ground. Kai hit the floor hard. When Kai looked up she looked into a pair of blood red eyes. She had a twisted smile on her face. "Syn" she whispered. Syn wrapped her hands around Kai's throat and gave her an evil smile. Syn squeezed as hard as she could. Kai couldn't breath. She tried pulling Syn's hands off of her throat but she couldn't. Syn whispered. "Your the weak one." Kai bolted up right and looked around in a panic. She held her throat and gasped for air.

Drake jumped, "Whats wrong?" he asked concerned, "Did you have a bad dream?"
That had been quite a startling experience, he tried to relax again.

"Ya...just a bad dream." She said softly. "Sorry I woke you." She said softly. She lied her head back down on the pillow. That dream...it felt...so real. She thought. She took a deep breath and closed her eyes. She slowly fell back asleep.

Drake watched her until she was asleep once more, "Your life is so complicated," he whispered, "I just wish I could do something to make it easier..."
He smiled warmly and closed his eyes, falling alseep almost instantaniously.

Kai slept a dreamless sleep. When she opened her eyes she was on her stomach and her hair was kind of a mess. She turned her head and looked at Drake. He was still sleeping. Kai gave a smile. He looks like a little kid when he sleeps. She thought. She closed her eyes again and lay there with her eyes closed.
