Kai opened the door to her apartment and stumbled in the room. The guy that had bitten her earlier had taken a lot of blood for a snack and it made her light headed. "I'm...I'm back she called into the apartment. She walked into the kitchen and put the bags on the counter. She shook her head and squinted at the counter.

Drake yawned and opened his eyes, "Kai?" he called to her, his eyes opening.
He got off the couch and walked into the kitchen, he saw all the blood, "Kai!?" he said rushing to her, "What happened!?"

"Um...Some guy. He took me by surprise and...well bit me." She said softly. Her vision blurred for a little bit but it came back. Kai walked over to the sink and turned on the water. She cupped some water in her hand and washed off her mouth. "He took some of my blood." She smiled faintly. When she moved her shoulder it stung and she flinched.

He looked at her worried, "You don't look okay to me...," he whispered from afar.
Drake grabbed her wrist and turned her around, "What did he say?" he asked softly staring in her eyes intensely.

"He called me a meal and a snack." She unzipped her jacket and took it off. It was making her shoulder hurt. The shoulder of her shirt was stained red. "In a way he got mad because I fought back." She looked into his eyes. "I'm just a little light headed thats all." She said with a faint smile.

He frowned slightly, "Everytime someone says they will be okay they really aren't." His voice was stern, "Now go sit down and rest for a while."

"I will after I clean up a little bit." She said with a smile and headed to her room for a pair of new clothes. She stopped at the door way. "Help your self to the snacks." She called down the small hall and went into her room. She picked out one of her black corsets, and her black skirt. She put them neatly on the bed.

Drake watched her leave sadly, he hated seeing her hurt. He opened the bag and pulled out the caramels, he opened the bag quickly, "Yum, i love these."
He unwrapped a caramel square and threw it in the air and caught it in his mouth. While he chewed, he stretched out his arms and shoulders.

After she set out her clothes she walked to the bathroom and turned the shower on and made sure it was steaming. She changed out of her clothes and stepped into the shower. She let the hot water wash away the sticky blood that covered her shoulder. When the water hit her wound it stung but only for a moment. Even though the red color had washed away she could still feel it on her skin. She let the water wash over her filling every pour with water. After the blood wash gone she turned off the shower and pulled a towel out of the cupboard next to the shower. She dried her skin and wrapped her self in the towel. She walked over to the mirror over the sink and made a small hole in the vapors on the glass. She looked at her shoulder to see if the bite marks had healed yet. She lightly brushed her fingers over the small holes that had been made in her neck The bleeding had stopped but the holes still hadn't healed yet. She opened the door and went into her room. She looked at the clothes on the bed and changed her mind on wearing them. She dug around in the bag of clothes for something more "hang around the house" lazy out fit. She pulled out a pair of blue jeans that she got last night and one of the new shirts she got to. It was red with black stitched flowers at the bottom of the shirt. She rung out her hair to dry it out some then when it was dry enough for her. She put on the clothes and headed out to the living room. "Enjoying the snack food?" She said with a smile.

Drake was chewing caramel, "Yes, very much." His words were muffled by the food in his mouth.
He swallowed it, "Do you feel better now?" he asked looking at her with curious eyes.

"A little, the bite marks haven't healed yet." She said holding her shoulder. She walked into the living room and sat down on the couch. "I'm still dizzy but I'll be ok." She swung her legs up onto the couch, lay her head back and closed her eyes.

He walked over to her and ran cold fingers over the bite mark, "I'm sure it will heal in no time," he said smiling cutely, he pointed to his arm, "My wound healed, well it left a scar, but thats nothing."
Drake sat at the opposite end of the couch and continued to eat caramels.
