They take a long time to get to know each other, Drake making many mistakes that could have been fatal for their relationship, Kai being kidnapped or transformed by the evil being within her...Syn. Syn is then gone, but comes back full force to despose of Kai.

Speeding down the apartment filled street Kira looked over her shoulder at the lightening sky."Dammit," she muttered as she turned to scan the buildings hoping to see a sign that said Room For Rent. Almost given up she finnally saw one building with that exact sign. Pulling in front of the building she hopped off her bike and took off her helmet. She quickly ran into the building glancing behind her as the sun just peaked over the horizon.
Breathing a sigh of relief she found herself ina small waiting room, looking around she saw a door with Manager printed across it. Kira walked over and pounded on the door several times hoping someone was in there. She stood there for several moments taping her foot impatiently. Looking down at her clothes she gave a small groan," Dammit, I probably look like a punk with my Blue bangs and ripped jeans, Nice first impression," she thought. Aftera few ,moments Kira gave a frustrated sigh and turned to walk to the door.

A short guy with no hair, blue eyes, and a nasty look on his face opened the door. He was dressed in a navy blue suit and navy blue dress shoes. It looked like he was about to go out for an early morning meeting or something. "Not another one!" The manager spat "What do you want?"

Looking at the manager kira's palm itched to slap his face. "Ive had enough of rude people for the day,"she thought. She narrowed her dark brown eyes at him "Im hear about the room," she snapped. Reaching into a pouch on her black belt she pulled out a wad of cash and flung it at the guys chest. "I'm sure that will be enough."

Kira caught the key in mid air and trwirled it around her pointer finger, "I wont be a problem," she said and walked away from the manager muttering "much."and quickly ran up the stairs containing her laughter.

Reaching the top of the stairs she pused and listened. Hearing very few people awake in there apartments she tred lightly down the hallway not wanting to wake them. Trying to hold back her laughter the entire way she finally could not hold it any longer and burst out laughing just outside her apartment door. "That manager really needs to get some anger managment classes, or better yet go on a vacation to cuba," she muttered. Hearing a door open she spun around.

Drake groaned, "What is with all this noise?" he said angrily getting off the floor and walking to the door. He opened the door quickly and shouted down the hall, "Shut Up! Do you not have any manners!?" Drake continued to yell not realizing who it was, "The halls are supposed to be quiet!" He then noticed Kira, his eyes thinned, "You!" he said pointing her way, "What the hell are you doing here!?"

Kai walked after him. "Drake whats gotten into you?" She said in a concerned voice. She saw him pointing down the hall. Kai poked her head out of the door. She was really confused.

THe door opened and Kira found herself facing Drake Ambrosse. At the same time he pointed at her she did the same and shrieked "You." After his little rant she said angrly"What the hell am I doing here? What the hell are you doing here? Your the one who suggested Cloudy City to me to find a place to live."

Drake lowered his arm to his side, "Well just so you know I have found someone to stay with," he said proudly, "And also there are more than one apartments in Cloudy city." He raised a brow, "You were following me weren't you?"

Kai was really confused. That name...Kira...why dose it sound familiar? She put a hand on Drakes shoulder. "Who's that?" She asked looking at Kira her green eyes filled with interest.

Kira looked at him with surprise. "You . . . you think I was following you, She lowered her arm and began laughing hysterically."like I would ever follow you Drake, " Finally composed she said "I was at the Enix night club for your information and I found this to be the only apartment with a room available." She narrowed her eyes as she crossed her arms and looked him up and down. "I see you haven't spent the money I gave you yet," she said slightly irritated.Spotting a young woman with blonde hair and green eyes she gave a small smile, "sorry, I'm Kira Fallon.

He turned to Kai, "Thats Kira, remember? She's the one who gave me that wad of cash," he whispered to her, "She has quite a temper so watch yourself." Drake chuckled to himself and looked back to Kira, "And for your information I haven't had a chance to change my clothes."

Hearing them talk about her she sighed and said," the money was my way of apologizing for ruining your clothes Drake." She turned towards kai and smiled tiredly, "Yes I do have a temper, but at least it'a not as bad as the mangers downstairs." Kira glanced down the hallway as if the manager would appear out of thin air.
