As Drake carried Kai to the apartment Syn's voice grew quiet and Kai was no longer dizzy. "I think I can walk now." she said with a small laugh.

He smiled, "Okay," he said setting her down softly, "If you feel ill again just ask me to carry you."
Drake took Mina's gun with him, a trophy so to speak.

When they reached her apartment she took out her key and opened the door. She turned and looked at Drake's cheek to see if it was healed. "Do you want me to take at look at your cheek?" She asked.

Kai sat down next to him and lightly lifted his chin so she could look at it in the light. She lightly brushed her index finger just under the now small cut. "It looks ok." She said with a smile.
