A wonderful love story between the two vampires, Laurie and Mikani. Laurie rescues Mikani and they fall in love instantly. But one problem lies....Mikani is still human. Laurie eventually changes her into a vampire and they are finally able to be happy. But visits from A troublesome Werewolf and a vicious Hunter puts a halt in the festivities.
Laurie and Mikani overcome many obsticles together, but that doesn't mean their relationship can end tragically.

Rah-juh brought Mikani to a small apartment"This is where I 'live'."he smiled shyly"You're welcome to stay as long as you need." "Thank you...Rah-juh..."she sat on the couch and stared blankly at the door.
Why does this feel so wrong...? It felt like she was missing something...someone. But what? Why couldn't she remember?

Laurie's heart ached again, he winced and put a hand to his chest, "W-what's wrong with me?" he whispered soflty, almost as quiet as a whisper. He was missing something...his eyes widened, "Mikani...," he whispered, "Where is she?" She had been gone for a long time, maybe a little too long, Drake was wrong, something happened to her. Laurie stood up and ran up to his apartment. He swung the door open and Drake looked at him shocked, "Whats wrong with you?" he asked a frazzled. Laurie walked into the bedroom and buckled him knife belt around his waist and ran towards the door, Drake stopped him, Laurie's face worried. "Where are you going?" he asked getting angry, Laurie looked at him and frowned, "I'm going to find Mikani, she never came back, you said she'd be fine, well i guess you're wrong brother," Laurie said, his eyes thinning, Laurie pushed Drake out of the way and walked out the door. "Do you want me to go with you?" he asked obviously stressed. "NO!" Laurie yelled back, his walk turned into a sprint, he left the apartment searching for Mikani's scent.

Her scent was being carried by the wind...along with that familiar, unwelcome scent that belonged to none other than Rah-juh.
"I can't remember anything!"she was close to tears. It was frustrating. These feelings...this...burning sensation through her body...what the hell was going on!? Rah-juh sat next to her and hugged her"Hey...hey...it takes time."he smiled gently and ruffled her hair"come on now, just relax. I'm the King of Bandits, I'll steal your memories back for you."he winked.

Laurie got outside and started running, the wind blew a familiar scent his way, "Mikani...," he though running towards the outskirts of town. Soon followed a familiar, but less pleasent scent, "Rah-juh...," he growled under his breath.
A while later he found himself almost running into Werewolf territory, he stopped abruptly, "Oh crap, he got over the border," he growled. Laurie really didn't like messing with werewolves, but they had his lover, it was his duty to find her. He took in a deep breath, quietly and warily he started to make his way through the forest to Valor City.

She closed her eyes and sighed. Rah-juh turned and held her"Hey...smile..."this didn't feel right to her...but why? There was a pain in her neck. She reached up and touched the bite marks Laurie had given her. She felt...happy...no...ecstatic at the thought of the mark. Why? Rah-juh said she'd probably been attacked by a vampire...then why...?
"I'm not...feeling well..."she shook her head and tried to get up. Rah-juh stopped her"Stay...you need rest..."

"Almost there, i can feel it," Laurie thought, his mind was running in circles, he would have to fight rah-juh again, which he didn't want to do. Not only that, something wasn't right with Mikani, thats why his heart aches. Laurie stopped and hid behind a tree, he was right on the edge of town and it smelled horrible, like something died. "Disgusting...," he thought trying to hold his breath, "I need to get into town un-noticed." He ran swiftly and quietly along rooftops, hopeing that no one noticed, if they did, he would be dead.
The scent stopped at a large grey stone building maybe seven stories high. "Its coming from down there," he thought, "Almost there."

Laurie sat on the rooftop next to the apartment building, he wasn't ready to make his move yet, it was too soon, he would wait a while. "How am I going to do this?" he asked himself silently, "Is there even anything i can do?"
A thought flashed through his mind, when rah-juh whispered to her at the apartment the other day, "He did something to her...," Laurie thought, sadness forming on his face.

Laurie sighed silently and looked into the distance, "Mikani...," he thought, "Why did Rah-juh take you away?"
He closed his eyes and thought about only her, ha took in a deep breath, "Come to me," he whispered under his cold breath, "Come back to me...please Mikani."

"Laurie....LAURIE!"she screamed, her body suddenly becoming very hot. Rah-juh barked and let go, transforming into a wolf. The frightened vampire ran for the window and jumped through it, shards of glass piercing her arms. Then...she was falling...
"You're not getting away!"the black wolf let out a howl and jumped after her, claws bared and ready to kill...

Laurie's eyes shot open, "Oh crap!" he yelled. He jumped down from the building and dived in order to catch her. She landed in his arms and he landed on the snowy ground on his back. "Ouch...," he whispered under his breath.
Laurie caught a glimpse of Rah-juh coming after Mikani, He looked at her bloody arms, "We need to get out of here right now, or we could both be dead," he said quickly to her trying to stand up with Mikani in his arms.

Rah-juh opened his mouth, a ball of lightning forming. He shot it at Laurie and Mikani, mainly at Mikani. He landed and glared at Laurie"You just couldn't leave....you had to come. Now both of you will die..."

Laurie looked at Mikani with a worried face, "You get out of here," he said to Mikani with a stern voice, "Now!" He set her down and pushed her the other direction.
Laurie looked at rah-juh with hateful eyes, "Why did you take her?" he said with irritation.
