A forest cursed by crappy weather. It is always foggy, and damp, but since it is very dense with trees, the ground is never wet. There are open areas where the moon at night can shine through, casting long shadows of the trees along the ground. This is one of the safest places a werewolf can hide if trying to avoid something.
